d-day-hindi-movie-showbizbitesD-Day 1st weekend box office collections are not up to the mark and expectations. The film opened to poor collections, as the opening day box office business was simply dull. But the next two days nonetheless brought up some nice business. But we cannot term them nice in true business sense since the movie could not bring what the investors were seeking. Friday business was merely 2.90 crore in India. D-Day 1st Saturday box office collections were 4.50 crore in domestic market. Talking about D-Day 1st Sunday collections, well, they are brilliant and rather very good in comparison with last two days’ business. The movie made the business of 5.50 crore in India on third day.

Saturday and Sunday being weekend and holiday brought in the audiences to the theaters. But will this action-packed movie bring up good business and continue churning out nice business in next days? This is what the question is in minds of all and sundry. D-Day total domestic collections so far in 3 days are 12.90 crore. D-Day 1st weekend box office collections are not better at all. And if we make the comparison with the rival movie ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya 1st weekend box office collections’, D-Day’s business is much lower than Prabhudeva’s flick.
