The filmmaker, who is famed for making horror movies, flopped this time with his genre. The movie opened with merely 4.35 crore.

Although the movie was made with a low budget, but it does not matter at all to run at the box office. There are a number of examples of the low-budget films, which ran pretty well at the box office, earning bigger business. But Horror Story does not have any alluring content to watch on screen.
