Jennifer Lawrence wardrobe malfunction took place at the recently held Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013 taken place on Sunday night on 27th January at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. It was a sparkling extravaganza where the who’s who of Hollywood entertainment industry was seen wearing and showing off classy designers’ wear at the red carpet.
Jennifer won the Best Actress award for her marvelous and brilliant piece of acting in Silver Linings Playbook. But the actress’ delight turned into a big chunk of humiliation when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction at the event.
The wardrobe malfunction took place in front of the wider ritzy audiences when the gorgeous actress stood up to receive her award. She chose to wear an unusual dress for the glittery evening but this outfit turned out to be such a horrible that she had to think over why she zeroed it in.
By the time Jennifer’s name was announced, the disaster happened with her. She was hugging the people sitting around her. She was completely unaware of the fact that her gown had ripped off from her thighs. This is what happened that someone on Jennifer’s table, where she was sitting along with other stars, put the leg of his/her chair on her gown mistakenly and when she stood up to receive the prize, her expensive Christian Dior gown ripped off from the thighs.
Eager to collect the prestigious prize, Jennifer Lawrence ran to stage tearing off the gown completely on the top side of her thighs which got utterly exposed to the audiences out there. Being a true professional, Lawrence instantly pushed the torn section of the gown under its’ existing tuck and reached at the stage.
On stage, Jennifer Lawrence wardrobe malfunction once again struck but she held the dress together instantly and accepted the award. On Saturday, she could not attend the awards’ function – Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards over the weekend (Saturday) as she was badly ill.
