Kill Dil 1st Weekend Box Office Collections – Very Disappointing

By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

parineeti's wardrobe-showbizbites-01Kill Dil 1st weekend box office collections – the film could not even manage to cross the bare minimum expectations. Well, the film has lost its impact on the viewers and now it will hardly show any miracles in weekdays. Yash Raj Films’ outing did not open well and went with just about average business on 1st day and then the following two days too did not show any good progress to write a decent total on first weekend.

Shaad Ali’s directed venture Kill Dil is a disappointment now since the film is now not being expected to make any surprises in coming days. Even the miracles cannot be expected at all. The film could not manage to gain good word of mouth and positive reviews from the critics either.

The movie is going to affect the careers of its stars – Govinda, Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar. Especially Ali Zafar, whose last outing Total Siyapaa too was a failure. Parineeti’s last outing ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ too could not make any ripples at the box office and Ranveer’s last Gunday, which joined 100 crore club.

Well, Kill Dil 1st weekend box office collections are just 20 crore or a bit more. It was being expected that the movie at least cross 30 crore though 40 crore or more on expectations as well.
