PIKUA lot has been penned and is often written on Deepika Padukone badminton passion – this is because she is a passionate lover of the game and was the state level badminton champion before stepping into the world of entertainment. She and Irrfan Khan along with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan have been shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s comedy drama PIKU. It has been learnt that both Deepika and Irrfan are found playing badminton on the sets whenever they find spare time during the shooting.

Deepika Padukone badminton passion exists inside her because she is the daughter of a badminton player Prakash Padukone.

Well, while playing with Irrfan, Deepika found that he was a real tough opponent to defeat in the game. Both are talented in the field of acting and both are skilled in the game of badminton as well.

An insider told that both were sitting one day on the sets when Irrfan asked Deepika to play badminton, she happily obliged and both started playing. Ever since the two have been playing the game on the sets whenever they find time from the shooting.

During playing, Deepika found that Irrfan too was a brilliant player of the game. Thus, she now finds him as a tough opponent while they play. PIKU is scheduled to release on 30th April 2015.
