Abbas -Mustan, the men in white, has come up with their latest suspense thriller ‘Race 2’, the sequel to their 2008’s successful thriller Race. Race 2, Saif Ali Khan starrer, has been doing magnificent in domestic and overseas box office. The film has grossed more than 100 crore in India and that’s the big success and honor for the makers, producer and stars of the film. Race 2 crosses the prestigious mark of 100 crore by grossing INR 100.45 crore nett in domestic market.
Race 2 box office collections have been on way to make good and good business in both domestic and international circuits.
Race 2 overseas collections too have been great so far and in international market the film in 10 days have collected $5.5 million and expectations are that it will finish off around $6 million.
It was being expected that Race 2 will do a potentially mammoth business in domestic and overseas since the outset and the film did the same. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ameesha Patel and Jacqueline Fernandez in main leads.
Akshaye Khanna and Katrina Kaif were not roped into the cast this time around whereas Bipasha Basu makes a brief appearance in the sequel. The film has a number of twists and turns which certainly appeal to the viewers and this is what grabs the attention of the viewers.
