Pakistani TV Actress Saba Qamar Makes Bollywood Debut Opposite Irrfan Khan

saba qamar pictureEarlier Pakistani singers used to hit Bollywood industry, now for last few years or so it’s actors turn to take the driving seat. Yes, the actors from Pakistani entertainment industry have started emerging on Hindi cinema industry scene. They are given due respect over there take the example of Fawad Khan and Maira Khan – they are being treated highly and have good fan following there. On singing front, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to Atif Aslam, all are getting applauds there. Trend seems to be high among Pakistani entertainment industry’s artists to go there in Bollywood to make a good career there. Pakistani film industry had shut down few years back. But for last two or three years or so, it has again started reviving with well-made movies.

Since the artists have mere or no chances to grow in Lollywood, they now tend to cross the border to show their talents. Only television industry is working fine in Pakistan. And mostly the TV stars are making their way to Bollywood. The latest to join them in Bollywood is none other than the famous TV actress and model Saba Qamar, who has been cast opposite very talented Irrfan Khan in producer Dinesh Vijan’s untitled movie.

Saket will direct this venture, who has earlier made the movies like Pyar Ke Side Effects and Shaadi Ke Side Effects. It is said that this untitled movie will be a fun and slice of life kind of cinema.

With Dinesh, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series will join hands on production front. The film is expected to go on floors this August.
