The film, though opened with average box office business, gained momentum on the same day in the evening and night shows. Since then onwards, Special 26 gave tough competition to Remo D’ Souza’s ABCD – Any Body Can Dance that defeated it on the opening day at the box office.

Special 26 total box office collections have been tremendous making room for the movie to stay consistent at the ticket window by grabbing more and more business.
