1. Rang Barse from Movie: Silsla (1981)
Yash Chopra’s romantic film rather the love triangle movie ‘Silsla’ is being considered as the classic of Hindi cinema. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Shashi Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan. Rang Barse is the spongy song, which is still loved to be heard by the music fans. The song aptly presents Holi and the festival of Holi. Lyrically beautiful and musically well composed, the track is sung by the legendary star Amitabha Bachchan himself. The picturization is on Amitabh, Rekha and others like Jaya and Sanjeev Kumar.
2. Holi Ke Din Dil Mil Jaate Hain from Movie: Sholay (1975)
The song is really mesmerizing and catchy. It is a real hummable wonderful song. Lyrics are splendid and attention-fetching. It was picturized on Hema Malini. Late legendary singer Kishore Kumar and Late Mangeshkar had sung this number.
3. Aaj Na Chodenge Bas Humjoli from Movie: Kati Patang (1970)
The song was sung by the maestros – late Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. It is superb song which is still listened with oomph and vigor and on Holi occasions, it is played with gusto. The number has catchy lyrics and active composition. It was picturised on late Rajesh Khanna and Asha Parekh.
4. Arre Ja Re Hat Natkhat from Movie: Navrang (1959)
This song, we often see the people acting on musical shows and dance shows in particular, is really popular among the masses. Although it is very old, as it was churned out in 1959, the track still has sparks which go utterly well with today’s listeners. The film starred Mahipal, Ullas and Sandhya. Asha Bhosle and Mahendra Kapoor had rendered the song with great ease.
5. Holi Khele Raghuveera from Movie: Baghban (2003)
The song from the 2003 movie Baghban, Holi Khele Raghuveera glides on the ears aptly and appears to be magical on the festival of Holi. The track was picturised on Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. It was crooned by Amitabh Bachchan, Udit Narayn, Sukhwinder Singh and Alka Yagnik.
6. Do Me a Favor Let’s Play Holi from Movie: Waqt – A Race Against Time (2005)
The track was sung by musician Anu Malik and fire-like voiced singer Sunishi Chauhan. Both delivered the goods with superb class by injecting the energies in the song. It was picturized on the trio of Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. The song is still hot though it was from the 2006 movie.
7. Ang Se Ang Lagana from Movie: Darr (1993)
Darr was a big hit rather a blockbuster of 1993. It starred Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Sunny Deol in main roles. Where the entire album turned out to be a big hit, the Holi song ‘Ang Se Ang Lagana’ got much popular among the listeners and still on Holi occasion, it runs well. It was picturised on Juhi Chawla, Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan. The track was sung by Vinod Rathod and Alka Yagnik.
8. Phagun Aayo Re from Movie: Phagun (1973)
The song was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar. She sung it with her usual class that is the reason that the song is still loved and people listen it. The number was picturised on Dharmendra and Waheeda Rehman.
9. Dekho Aayi Holi from Movie: Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005)
The track is potentially great to hear and makes soothing hearing whenever it is played. The movie starred Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Ameesha Patel. The track was sung by Aamir Khan, Madhushree, Udit Narayan and Srinivas.
10. Holi Aayi Holi Aayi Dekho Holi Aayi Re from Movie: Mashaal (1984)
It is from the film Mashaal released in 1984 starring Dilip Kumar, Anil Kapoor and Rati Agni Hotri in pivtol roles. The movie’s entire album was a hit but the Holi song is still fresh among the listeners. This track was sung by late Kishore Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor and Late Mangeshkar.
