Udta Punjab Becomes 5th Highest Opening Weekend Grosser of 2016

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer this multi starcast film has done really well over the weekend. The movie has collected 33.80 crore in domestic market. It has now become the 5th highest opening weekend grosser of 2016. The movie has been performing well in India and good word of mouth is being seen for the film.

Housefull 3 stays at the top with 53.31 crore business on opening weekend. Second position is fetched by Fan that had earned 52.35 crore in domestic market on opening weekend. Third and fourth are Airlift (44.30) and Baaghi (38.58 crore).
