Warning is out now. The film is based on the subject of sea adventure, which very rarely touches in Bollywood. Just a few movies have been made on this subject and this is why the film’s importance is there. But does the movie fit to the expectations and prove to be a catchy adventurous movie? For this, read on the review. Anubhav Sinha brings up the adventure with Gurmeet Singh on director’s chair. Apparently, the film seems to be a nail-biting adventure, but sorry to say, the movie carries a few sequences, which catch you attention from tip to toe. Rest of the movie is just about okay. With a genre of this kind, one has to come up with something super alluring and nail-biting with a plot that captures your eyes from the very beginning. But, Warning does not offer you anything of this sort.
It is a survival story set in the middle of the sea. It tells the story of a group of pals struck in the middle of the ocean in tremendously giant dangerous and unwarranted circumstances with no hope and source of survival. There is no rescue or miracle to happen. With newborn baby on board, what will happen to the friends? Warning has been filmed in Fiji with brilliant and eye-catchy cinematography to rave big about.
Friends make a reunion and get on board on a luxury yacht and reaches in the middle of the eye-candy ocean where they land at the unwarranted and most dangerous situations with no survival chances.
With the plot of this kind, a viewer expects twists and turns plus frequent nail-biting moments to hit the screen. But, sorry to say, you get hardly of this sort. Yes, there are edge of the seat moments, but the overall product is not what it should have been. Script is good, but it could have been crispier more. First half carries few eye-capturing and nail-biting moments and the same happens in the post interval portion. You come out of the theater unsatisfactorily and this is called the biggest weakness of the script and execution.
Warning is a 3D movie, but the director could not use the 3D effects as proficiently as they should have been done.
Manjari Fadnis is brilliant. Santosh Barmola is effective and Jitin Gulati enacts the part well. Suzana Rodrigues looks hot and Madhurima Tuli displays her part well too. Sumit Suri is first-rate. Remaining characters of the film too are confident in their roles.
Final Verdict:
On the whole, Warning is a below average movie with no classically made 3D effects and just about okay script.
