But as it was expected that the flick will show drop on the start of weekdays, it did. The film earned 3 crore at the domestic box office on 4th day. Azhar talks about the life of former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin and stars Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri in main leads. Three movies released on Friday and among the three, it is Azhar only which is showing good performance.

Despite getting mixed reviews from the critics, film showed good business. Thanks to its music.
