By Goher Iqbal Punn – Hindi Film Critic, Columnist & Bollywood Analyst – Showbiz Bites

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s Badrinath Ki Dhulhania opening occupancy was great to rave about. The film has taken a good start at the box office in India. The film, which is a romantic comedy, opened to around 35 percent occupancy rate in morning shows. The film witnessed good business in Mumbai and Gujrat as per the reports.  The response in multiplexes and single screens appeared to be nice. It is rated as the second best opening of the year after Raees.

The film was made on a moderate budget, thus the extended weekend (including Holi on Monday) will bring nice footfalls.
