The first Friday collections appeared to be nice after the movie managed to make good occupancy and positive reviews from the good chunks of critics. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy 1st day box office collections in domestic marker are around 5 crore, as per early estimates. The film did good business in Mumbai, Delhi. Pune and West Bengal.
