By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

gippi-movie still-showbizbitesGippi box office collections are not up to the mark and they could not register any impact on the moviegoers at all. The film opened with lower occupancy and did not do well on the opening day. From the release day to date, the movie has spent 5 days at the theaters and in these five days, the film’s business is super low. We can term it ‘poor’. Well, there were expectations of this kind of business and the same the movie did at the box office in India.  The movie received 75 lakhs on opening day. Then the weekend too could not generate any oomph for the business at all.

Gippi first Saturday collections too were below average and then good business took place for Sunday and then Monday’s collections. Gippi 1st Tuesday box office collections were really disappointing from all aspects.

The break-up for Gippi Total Box Office Collections is as under:

Gippi 1st day box office collections: 75 lakhs

Gippi 2nd day box office collections: 95 lakhs

Gippi 3rd day box office collections: 1.20 crore

Gippi 4th day box office collections: 40 lakhs

Gippi 5th day box office collections: 35 lakhs

Gippi Total Domestic Box Office Collections: 3.75 crore nett

The movie will hardly stay at theaters now. Within few days, the film will wind up its business and take the train back to home. The stakeholders must be disappointed from the bad and poor business. Gippi box office collections are really mundane.
