Himmatwala 2nd day box office collections or Himmatwala 1st Saturday box office collections did not live up to the expectations. The film gained momentum and big business on the opening day even broke the record of Ajay Devgn’s previous biggest opening ‘Bol Bachchan’ by collecting around 12 crore nett in domestic market. As it was being expected that the film will score higher over the weekend but the Saturday could not add real sparkles to the movie’s business though it is nice. But comparatively it is not good than the opening. Himmatwala received around 11 crore in India on Saturday.
The film gained marvelous opening despite the negative film reviews by the film critics. The audiences hit the theaters due to the big hullabaloo and the mammoth publicity prior to the release. Viewers put the movie reviews aside and went with the hubbub of the movie. But it now seems that the moviegoers would like to go with what the film critics have said in their reviews.
Himmatwala Saturday box office collections are not handsome at all, as the figure shows above. Now it is being waited for the Sunday collections. Seeing the Saturday’s weak business, there are hardly any good expectations for a lucrative business. But nothing can be said as Easter might add values to the business of the film.
Himmatwala Sunday collections will be dashed off this space once they arrive. The drop in business took place just because of the mundane content the movie carries. There is nothing attractive to rave big about. Apart from Sunday’s business, from Monday onwards, the collections might drop and this drop even could be bigger in the days to come.
The movie hardly could touch 100 crore mark, as Sajid Khan’s previous three movies did. The man might have to face disappointment this time around.
