Jackpot Opens to Below Average Occupancy

By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

naseer-sunny-jackpot-showbizbitesJackpot opening occupancy in India has not been that great, as it was being expected. Well, as Showbiz Bites predicted in its yesterday’s article that Jackpot could not be a big opener, but could beat the rival What The Fish, the same took place. Jackpot opened to good occupancy than What The Fish. Although both the movies did not get better response from the audiences and the business is not what to be raved big about. But comparatively speaking, Jackpot takes the lead at the box office than its rival What the Fish. Sunny Leone’s presence as a leading actress in the movie made the moviegoers came out to watch the film. Besides, yes, it carries good content, which is appealing. The film’s business in the days to come would not be great. Word of mouth publicity could play magic, if done.

The opening day business, once the entire day’s business wraps up, will be dashed off at this website. But it will not be lavish or big, so don’t expect much from the movie. But if you are going to make comparisons with Dimple Kapadia starrer What The Fish, then, yes, it could be better than the latter. Till now, Jackpot opening occupancy is better at the BO.

Well, Sunny Leone has the charisma to grab the audiences and she could capture today and even in next few days. So, the business could move on and on, but it cannot be big at all.
