Jolly L.L.B is out and releases today to entertain the audiences. Well, whether the movie entertains the viewers or not – this is what our concern in this review is? After reading Jolly L.L.B movie review, you guys would get to know if the film is worth a watch or a time pass. Subhash Kapoor – the man returns after endowing the viewers with Phas Gaye Re Obama with this outing that apparently seems to be a humorous fiesta but in actual, it is a serious film with the dose of required humor to aptly entertain the viewers.
The film is well-made and well-executed on celluloid. By the time you come across with the film and steps into the celluloid waves of the movie, you stumble upon the uniqueness of courtroom sequences laced with the doses of humor. They are really entertaining and unique in all aspects. Subhash does the job skillfully and the script deserves distinction marks for the presentation.
Jolly LLB talks about an underdog who makes opposition with none other than a supremely powerful and influential lawyer of the town. He comes out victorious after suffering real difficulties. Jolly (Arshad Warsi), who is a Meerut based lawyer, comes to Delhi for a case which can make him celebrated instantly. Luckily he finds a case but the opposition is quite strong as the opponent lawyer (Boman Irani) is much influential and unbeatable.
Courtroom scenes are what we have grown up watching on screens in Hindi films. The connection and relation between the courtroom and Hindi films is much old rather we can say it has been coming up since the outset. The arguments between the two lawyers – Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani are simply awesome and well-executed. They really raise the spirits. Saurabh Shukla looks powerful in the judge’s role.
The film carries brilliantly written script by Subhash Kapoor. The man has done fabulous jobs on both front –writing and direction. Sandeep Singh Bajeli does fine task on editing. Cinematography is splendid by Anushman Mahely. There was no need at all for the music for this subject. And the music by Krsna seems inappropriate and also it is not well-composed.
Arshad Warsi brilliantly does the role of a lawyer. He is a fine actor and has also shown his class in recently released Zila Ghaziabad also. Boman Irani is a class apart as usual. His acting allures the souls. Saurabh Shukla is simply awesome. Amrita Rao looks stunning and acts well. She hits the screen after a hiatus and it is a big welcome.
Final Verdict:
In a capsule, Jolly LLB is a magnificent film with powerful script, direction and performances. Do watch it.
