Mahesh Bhatt Brings Back Pakistani Artists to Bollywood

Well, Pakistani artists are banned these days to work in Bollywood including entire Indian entertainment industry. This move was made when last year BJP had imposed ban on Pakistani artists working in India. Following this, Pakistani cinema owners too had stopped screening Bollywood movies. Now, the ban for screening Bollywood’s films has been lifted and Hindi movies have now started being shown in Pakistan. A step from Indian side too has now been taken from the famous filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who is much enthusiast to bring back Pakistani artists to Bollywood.

Mahesh Bhatt is synonymous for launching Pakistani talent in Bollywood and he has launched a number of Pakistani artists in Hindi cinema including Atif Aslam.

Reports have it that Mahesh Sahib is going to churn out a song on the theme of cross border peace. For this, he has approached Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. This song will be used for a play titled ‘Milne Do’ that will be staged in Delhi on June 8th and on 23rd June in Mumbai this year.

All of these Pakistani artists have shown their interest in this song.
