Neerja Opens Decent, Love Shhuda Average and Others Poor

neerja opening occupancySonam Kapoor starrer Neerja opening occupancy came up decent among all the movies released today. Horde of movies released today like Loveshhuda, Direct Ishq and Ishq Forever apart from Neerja. Other movies’ business turned out to be poor, while Loveshhuda came up with average morning occupancy. Neerja’s target audience is multiplexes. The film got a limited release. The film opened with 25% occupancy in Mumbai and Delhi in the morning shows. It received wonderful opening of 40% in Chandigarh.

Sonam’s movie is not a commercial entertainer nonetheless it worked better among the cinema lovers. It is being expected that the film will do better in later shows of the day, as the word of mouth is fine.

Loveshhuda starring Girish Kumar got average occupancy in morning shows with 15% opening in India. The movie could get some good chunks in later shows of the day, as it is targeted to youngsters. For other films, there are no expectations at all. Seeing at Neerja opening occupancy, it seems 1st day’s business is going to be nice.
