By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

pk-image-showbizbites-01PK 1st day box office collections – the film did well as it was being expected from it. The collections from domestic market are not as impressive as they were being expected prior to release. The vivid fact behind the reason is being a normal Friday (working day) otherwise PK was surely a record-breaker movie from all aspects. Nonetheless, considering the fact that the release took place on working day, the collections in Indian circuit on opening day are really very impressive.

Aamir Khan’s PK 1st day box office collections are 26.63 crores in domestic market. The film opened exceptional and then the later shows too showed a good rhythm at the box office. The film was being expected to generate the earnings of more than 30 crore something on 1st Friday, but as mentioned earlier, due to the working day factor, the business could not come up to the expectations.
