Since it is Aamir Khan’s film, which comes once in a year, it was bound to generate exceptional business. The film could not break records, but generated quite impressive business on its first day in domestic market. The reason of not having a record-breaking opening day business is crystal clear – the film released on working day. Had it been released on Christmas Day (festival), the opening day business was bound to be record-breaker. Nonetheless, there is no need to worry about since the makers were already aware of these facts. The earth-shattering business is in the pipeline, which will now start happening from now onwards  i.e. this weekend (1st weekend).

Weekdays might be a bit shaky with ups and downs, but once Christmas comes, the boost will generate and till Tevar comes in, PK has plenty of time to generate as much business as it can. Let’s read on day-wise business report of PK Box Office Collections.

Film got boost in business on 2nd day i.e. on Saturday and then as it was expected that the movie would do better on 1st Sunday being holiday, it did the same by receiving a business of marvelous 38.24 crore domestically. Weekdays could bring ups and downs, but they would not matter at all since the overall business keeps going on and on.
