The film received negative reviews from the majority of the film critics, besides the word of mouth publicity did not help the movie out at all. The opening day collections, we had mentioned were 2.50 crore whereas the final report brought up the business as 2.75 crore in India. Thus the 2nd day collections (1st Saturday business) dropped to just 2.50 crore though it was weekend, but the people did not give the movie any kind of importance at all.

The story is poor and the same goes for direction and other departments of the film. Even the music does not carry any good hummable number at all.
