Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited Ram Leela movie starring the likes of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in main leads has been quite high in the air. The movie has been on talks since the days it was announced and the pairing of Ranveer and Deepika was done. Deepika is quite an established actress whereas Ranveer Singh is almost the new entrant on Bollywood scene (though he has spent few years on Bollywood front), thus, it made big waves and generated whopping rumors in the media. Eventually, all had to be silent. Now all eyes are set on the movie’s release. Ram Leela’s songs have been generating much oomph and vigor among the cinegoers. The film is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s famous play Romeo and Juliet. The film is set in violent times and is expected to generate much craze among the Hindi audiences upon release. Well, let’s wait and see if this craze ultimately happens and most importantly works in the favor of the movie.
Apparently, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s chemistry seems great on screen and there are hopes for the pairing to work well on celluloid. Ram Leela movie so far has generated quite a big buzz among the cinema lovers. The music of the film has released and Ram Leela songs happen to be hummable.

Tidbits:
Ram Leela movie was initially shot in Gujrat whereas some of the sequences of the movie were shot in Udaipur. The movie’s story is set in Gujrat. An interesting thing happened with Ranveer Singh when he had to shoot for a song in freezing cold water and he had to stay in the water for around 45 minutes. During a song sequence, Deepika got injured heavily, but since the set was much expensive, the director could not postpone the shooting and she had to go for filming the song. This song was filmed at Film City in Mumbai.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali had set up a gym at Film City studio for the lead actor Ranveer Singh so that he could arrive at time and do his workouts there.
Kareena Kapoor was the first choice for a leading role in Ram Leela, but due to some reasons, she could not be signed. Priyanka Chopra was then another option, but things could not work in her favor as well. Eventually the movie was pocketed by the dusky and leggy beauty Deepika Padukone.
Film’s Music:
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has scored the music for this soundtrack of Ram Leela. He composed a film album for the second time – first he did for his movie ‘Guzarish’ in 2010 and now for Ram Leela in 2013. The lyrics for the soundtrack have been written by Siddharth Garima. The album carries 10 tracks in total.

Interesting Bite:
Whenever Sanjay Leela Bhansali comes up with a story based on literature or having literary touch, his efforts do not work well among the audiences. Pick up his previous attempts – Saawariya and Guzarish, both of them failed badly at the box office. Let’s hope for the best for upcoming ‘Ram Leela’ since this too is based on literature.
Ram Leela Release Date:
The film is slate for 15th November release all over.
