Despite receiving good reviews from the critics, the film could not make better on its 1st day at theaters. Although the film opened to good occupancy, but the later shows of the day brought up the cumulative business as ‘below average’ or in other words ‘disappointing’. As per early estimates, the film received 3.25 crore on 1st day in domestic market. The movie could make better after it received good occupancy, but it could not sustain at the box office and produced a below average result after the day wrapped up.
