Karan Johar says that this flick will be all about love and conflict as it is the main theme of the story. He confirms this movie is not going to be any usual love story or love triangle at all. He goes on mentioning that Ranbir and Anushka’s undeniable chemistry in coming flick ‘Bombay Velvet’ has made him to grab them in lead roles. About Aishwarya’s character, he says it would be her most unusual and contemporary role.

Pritam will be scorning the music and the film will be shot in London, New York, Paris and parts of Delhi.

Johar also mentions that he knows that everyone he knows has been through heartbreak and intense love, thus Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a film that very deeply resonates all of these emotions.
