JA Entertainment (John Abraham Entertainment) and AZUR Entertainment production and Nishikant Kamat directed venture had churned out decent bucks at the box office. A good business is on cards in coming days. Let’s hope the first weekend turns out to be good for the stakeholders. Paid previews added nice chunks into film’s collections.

John Abraham and Shruti Hassan starrer this action flick was awaited much by the cinema goers. Well, Rocky Handsome 1st day collection in Indian market is 7.06 crore, which is undoubtedly nice to write home about.

Film earned 5.29 crore on first day in India and adding the paid previews amount 1.77 crore, the first day domestic business turns out to be 7.06 core.

The breakdown of 5.29 crore business territory wise is as follows:

John Abraham shares credits on production, thus he has 50 percent share in revenue. First copy of the film was sold for 27.70 crore and P & A cost is 10.60 crore. Thus total investment of the film is 38.30 croire.

26.82 crore have been recovered from theatrical and music rights, etc. and now 11.48 crore are yet to be recovered. And now Rocky Handsome 1st day collection is 5.29 plus 1.77 crore of paid previews. Film may do well on 1st weekend, but Kapoor & Sons is still doing nice, which can be a competitor. Batman vs Superman too is a tough competitor. Let’s wait and see what happens now.
