Sanam Teri Kasam Music Review:

Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane starrer Sanam Teri Kasam’s soundtrack has been released earlier this month. Eros Now is behind the label of this album. Himesh Reshammiya’s composition has lyrics written by various lyricists. Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru have directed this flick, which is set to release on 5th February, 2016. Let’s now review the album.

  1. Sanam Teri Kasam (Ankit Tiwari and Palak Muchhal)

The album opens up with the title track rendered by Ankit Tiwari and Palak Muchhal, who croon the lines under the supervision and direction of the composer Himesh Reshammiya. The track shows true Himesh’s style of composition. It has well-penned lyrics by Sameer Anjaan and glides on the ears aptly.

Track’s Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

  1. Sanam Teri Kasam – Reprise Version (Muhammad Irfan and Palak Muchhal)

The Reprise Version too goes well with the listeners and one loves playing the song and staying with it till it lasts.

Track’s Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

  1. Kheech Meri Photo (Neeti Mohan, Akasa Singh and Darshan Raval)

Sameer Anjaan’s written song has the trio of Neeti Mohan, Akasa Singh and Darshan Raval on board to render the lines. The song reminds us of the song ‘Aankh Mare’ from the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. The composition by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru is wonderful and spongy. The voices appeal the ears. It is a playful song that deserves to be heard.

Track’s Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

  1. Bewajah (Himesh Reshammiya)

Himesh impresses with his voice in Bewajah that carries appealing composition and impressive lyrics by Sameer Anjaan.

Track’s Rating: 3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

  1. Tera Chehra (Arjit Singh)

Following next is Tera Chehra sung by Arjit Singh. The number registers good impact from the word go, carrying soothing vocals of the singer. Shabbir Ahmad impresses with his lyrics, whereas composition by Himesh is imposing.

Track’s Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

  1. Haal-E-Dil (Sreerama Chaandra)

Next comes on the list is Haal-E-Dil that has two version – one rendered by male and other by a female. Male version is rendered by Sreerama Chaandra, who sings with ease. The song is a romance number with 70s feel. Although it moves on a slow pace, but it gels well with you. Lyrics and music both are great to enjoy with.

Track’s Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

  1. Haal-E-Dil (Neeti Mohan)

The female version too exhibits catchy voice of Neeti Mohan. Go for the same and enjoy it.

Track’s Rating: 3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

  1. Ek Number (Himesh Reshammiya and Neeti Mohan)

This number is poor one on the list sung by Himesh and Neeti. The song makes a desperate attempt to impress the listener, but in vain. The lyricsby Himesh himself are mundane. Music is lethargic.

Track’s Rating: 1 out of 5 stars (1 / 5)

  1. Main Teri Yaadon Mein (Arjit Singh)

Th album concludes with a number carrying sad feel sung by Arjit Singh, who tries to impress the listeners, but hardly does it. Lyrics by Subrat Sinha are okay and same is the case with the music.

Track’s Rating: 1 out of 5 stars (1 / 5)
