Ben Stiller to quit acting is what has been the talk of the town and the media since the actor has made the announcement to do so. Well, not actually he is going to quit acting, but he prefers direction to acting, this is what the actual thing is and this is what the fact is. He may quit acting, as he now feels more comfortable into direction than acting though he is a brilliant actor and his acting prowess are always appreciated and praised a lot. Ben Stiller, the actor-director, really enjoyed churning out his latest flick ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’. In this film, Stiller has shown his skills of acting and directing and this movie has led him to start thinking about being a full-time director than an actor.
Well, Ben Stiller to quit acting is what has really shaken up his fans when the news made the rounds, but after learning deeply, the took a sigh of relief as the actor is not going to actually leave the acting job rather he shows his preference to direction over acting.
The three years, he worked on ‘Mitty’, he rates them as an incredible experience and gift. He adds that as a director, he really feels much comfortable and finds freedom in this department. He adds that there are various types of films which he can make as a director. Ben reveals that he certainly sees himself just directing movies in future because he would love to end up his career as a director.
Ben has a number of blockbuster movies to his credit such as the franchise of Night at the Museum, There’s Something about Marry and Meet the Parents. He also mentions and admits that in Tropic Thriller, he really preferred direction to acting. The film co-starred Robert Downey Jr. Stiller gives a hint of the film’s sequel that it is in pipeline.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is going to release on 3rd January 2014.
