The film, was being expected to do something better, but could not open as per the expectations and went straight low in opening shows in India. The film is a comic caper and a good amount of promotion has been done before the release.

Besides Akshay Kumar, the film stars Anupam Kher, Piyush Mishra, Annu Kapoor and Lisa Hayden in main leads. The film is a remake of the 80s classic movie ‘Shaukeens’.

The film opened with around 20 percent occupancy at multiplexes at metros. Since Akshay Kumar is there in the movie, it is expected that the movie could get more footfalls in remaining shows of the day.
