Ugly Opening Occupancy – Very Lowest Business

By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

ugly-still-showbizbites-02Ugly opening occupancy – the film, as it was evident and clear prior to release, opened to such a lower occupancy in the morning shows that it may be called a big disappointment. Well, the film got rave reviews from majority of the critics. But this is hardly going to help the movie at the box office since the biggie PK is in the competition. Besides, Ugly is not a product that fits to holiday season and when the giant is in competition, how can you survive? It is pretty obvious.

After now judging Ugly opening occupancy, it becomes clear the movie has to reply heavily on word of mouth even for survival. Otherwise, it will go off the cinema halls.

PK has been going simply fabulous so far and it surely will go for more by generating big business for the investors. Anyway, Ugly opening occupancy now makes it all clear for us and all the moviegoers that it could be a critically acclaimed movie, but cannot be a business-churner providing that it generates handsome amount of word of mouth, which seems faded away from all aspects. But in order to survive, it needs a bit of word mouth, else the tag of going back home it will have to see.
