There was a time when Akshay Kumar used to call Katrina Kaif ‘his lucky charm’ and yes, she was the same, since both had delivered hits. And both have worked in almost nine movies together. In 2013, they have last worked together. From then on, the Jodi has not been seen on screen. His new Jodi is with none other than the south sensation and hottest actress Amy Jackson, who is pairing with Akshay in the upcoming and much in talks ‘Singh is Bliing’. Thus Amy seems to be taking Katrina’s place now.
Kriti Sanon was the first choice for this role, which later was fetched in by Amy Jackson when Kriti opted out.
There are similarities between Katrina and Amy – both are British, the two started their careers as models before stepping into filmdom and both initially enjoyed success with south films.
Katrina is today among the Bollywood’s highest paid actresses and Amy too is looking forward to fetch her place among these leading ladies. Let’s wait and see. Singh is Bliing is directed by Prabhudeva and is set to release on 2nd October 2015.
