Well, finally the much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ has arrived in theaters on 21st December 2023. It was warmly welcomed by the moviegoers on its opening days. There was a lot of hype associated with the movie. The trailers and promotions all did well to raise the value of the movie. Everything went well to generate a big hype and the box office on the opening day showed good results. Despite getting mixed reviews from the critics, Dunki did well at the box office. Let’s check out the details about the Dunki box office collection completely.

Dunki Box Office Collection

Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani in main roles made a promising start at the box office. The movie churned out a business of Rs. 28 crores on ticket windows and appears to be a good beginning being a social drama packed with a sprinkle of humor to allure the audiences.

Furthermore, the movie’s subject is also interesting and holds the value to grab the attention of the cinemagoers. Rajkumar Hirani’s story and Shah Rukh Khan’s acting as a protagonist took the audiences to theaters in larger quantities.

Dunki Box Office Collection Day 1 (Day One)

As mentioned earlier the movie opened to a decent collection to provide a sigh of relief to all stakeholders of the film.  Dunki not only turned out to be good in Indian cinemas but also did well on foreign screens.

The first-day collections of the movie are Rs. 28 crore (net) whereas the gross collections in India are 34.57 crore. Overseas gross collections of Dunki are 23.45 crore. The overall worldwide box office collections of Dunki are 58.02 crore (gross).

Dunki Box Office Collection Day 2 (Early Trends)

The movie has been made on the topic of Donkey Flights aka Dunki – an illegal immigration technique used to get unauthorized entry into developed countries.

Khan delivered two blockbusters back-to-back namely Pathaan and Jawan this year. His third venture ‘Dunki’ managed to get a good opening, but the reports reveal that the second day got a vivid drop in collections.

It was also reported that the film got an occupancy of 25% on Friday (the second day of the movie). Prabhas starrer Salaar has affected the business of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office. According to early estimates, Dunki is set to earn approximately 14 crore on its second day.

If compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous releases of 2023, Dunki’s earnings on day one turned out to be lower than both Pathaan and Jawan. Salaar has performed brilliantly at the domestic box office.

As per the early estimates, Dunki is set to earn over 14 crores on its second day. The movie needs to maintain its momentum to get good earnings on its first weekend collections. There is no doubt the movie has the potential to grow at the B.O. with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani on its back. Salaar is undoubtedly a big competition.

Let’s get glued to get more updates on Dunki Box Office Collection.
