Bollywood Actress Nanda Dies at 75

This veteran actress was much popular for her roles in the movie such as Gumnaam (1965) and Hum Dono (1961). Besides her role in Shashi Kapoor starrer much popular movie ‘Jab jab Phool Khile (1965)’ also put her into big limelight.

The news ‘Bollywood actress Nanda dies’ spread like wildfire in the media and entertainment fraternity. Everyone got sad after the demise of this veteran actress who gave many a hits to Hindi cinema industry.

Nanda was from a film background, as she was the daughter of Vinayak Damodar Karnataki (a famed actor-director of Marathi movies). Nanda’s debut vehicle was Toofan Aur Diya though earlier she was a child artist in film industry.

Nanda was last seen in Prem Rog (1983) and post that she stayed away from films. She was engaged to Manmohan Desai who passed away by falling off his apartment terrace. Post the demise of Manmohan, she decided to remain unmarried till her death. She was 75. Her fans are utterly sad after hearing the news that says Bollywood actress Nanda dies.
