Happy New Year – The Fastest 100 Crore Entrant in Bollywood History

The film crossed the 100 crore mark in domestic market in just three days by earning 108.86 crore (domestically) and above all the best of the lot is that it has become the fastest entrant to 100 crore club in Bollywood history leaving behind Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, which earned around 107 crore in India in 3 days.

Happy New Year opening weekend collections are simply enormous and record-breaking, as mentioned in above lines. After brilliant opening and 1st day record-breaking business, the film turned out to be consistent on 2nd day by earning 38 crore in India. But on 3rd day, the business dropped a bit. Happy New Year 1st Sunday box office collections came up as 25.89 crore in Indian circuit. Well, there is no need to get worried at all since the movie still has big potential and word of mouth support to grow.

Happy New Year 1st weekend box office collections break-down is as under:

1st day collections: 44.97 crore

2nd day collections: 38 crore

3rd day collections: 25.89 crore

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer this action-packed entertainer earns 104.10 crore in Hindi belt, 2.92 crore in Telgu and then 1.84 crore in Tamil hub respectively in opening weekend.
