It is being called one of the biggest openings for any Ajay Devgn’s movie till today. After receiving biggest openings for Singham, Bol Bachchan and Son of Sardar, it is the tallest of all. Yes, Himmatwala has surpassed all of previous biggest openings of Devgn’s movies so far.

As it was being expected that the film might get good collections on the first day due to the biggest hype it had created prior to release, the film did the same. The opening day business for Himmatwala is 12.14 crore nett in India. Sajid Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tamannaah and all the stakeholders of the film must be supremely happy with the first day outcome of the movie at the box office.

With Himmatwala, Ajay Devgn broke his own record of the highest opening as the last biggest opener was his last year’s release Bol Bachchan that gained 11.25 crore in India on opening day. The film, as per reports, is running to packed houses. If Himmatwala runs with good business and crosses 100 crore mark, it will then be Sajid Khan’s 4th blockbuster in a row. Let’s wait and see the results.
