Well, time is changing now and so is the movies’ scenario. Earlier, the directors used to make films only, but now they do many tasks including acting. We have recently heard about the famous filmmaker Karan Johar donning an actor’s cap and now we hear about Jeet Matharru enacting in a movie directed by him. Yes, he has acted in the upcoming bilingual movie ‘Women From The East’.
Jeet performs the character of Shera, which carries the shades of grey. Jeet has assisted many a directors in his career previously and now he is ready to show another hidden talent of him ‘acting’, which would now be unzipped before the world. Let’s wish him good luck.
The reports have it that Jeet will be seen portraying a quintessential role of a burgher from a prudish village. The film is a troubling and heart-wrenching saga of hard-hitting realities found in the underbelly of rural India. Women From The East is the dilemma of a poor woman, who is sold like an animal.
