Well, the film received positive reviews mostly from the critics and the performances of the leading stars too were liked a lot. Ayushmann Khurrana’s debut ‘Vicky Donor’ was a hit and his next was being awaited. It released and got decent earnings but the opening of the film was not as per the expectations which were high prior to the release. The opening was slow in the morning and then the evening and night shows picked the momentum. Now Nautanki Saala first Saturday box office collections are out, which show the movie could now make good collections.

The film received 4 crore nett in domestic market on 2nd day. The opening of the film was 3.25 crore in India. Nautanki Saala total domestic collections are now 7.25 crore nett. The movie might also make good business on Sunday since it is holiday. The word of mouth publicity will further add values to the movie’s business.

Nautanki Saala has competition with Commando – A One Man Army that was also released this Friday. Both the films opened with low occupancy but then generated decent business in later shows on opening day.
