Dishkiyaoon 1st Day Collections, Film Fails Badly with Poor Business

By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

diskiyaoon still-showbizbitesDishkiyaoon 1st day box office collections are out and they clearly show that the film simply failed to generate any mark at the box office. The same was being expected from the film prior to release and after the release when the poor opening occupancy was reported. Dishkiyaoon 1st Friday box office collections are really poor. This Shilpa Shetty production has higher budget than the other two releases of this week – O Teri and Youngistaan and it released on more screens than the two others.

Well, despite having more budget than the other two and more screen counts, Dishkiyaoon is a mundane and a total failure. It’s a washout in any sense of the word. Dishkiyaoon 1st day box office collections are merely 1.25 crore in India. This is simply a poor business. The film is not being expected to grow at the box office in later days. If the business grows somewhat better on day 2 and 3, this will be because of the weekend. But apparent situation reveals it would hardly happen and if does, it would be likely be a minimal growth. Dishkiyaoon 1st Friday box office collections make whole picture of the business crystal clear.

The film will have to largely depend on 1st weekend business in order to recover the investment. But after seeing Dishkiyaoon 1st Friday box office collections, things seem not to be going into film’s favor. Harman Baweja’s comeback is again going to be destroyed. I have already given him a piece of advice in my review of the movie yesterday that he should try some other department of the filmmaking leaving acting business aside.
