Highway Opens Slow with 25% Occupancy

By Goher Iqbal Punn, Film Critic & Entertainment Analyst, Showbiz Bites

highway-film-showbizbites-01Highway opening occupancy did not come up as was being expected. With great hype and all that and even with the big promotions, Highway opened slow in metros. The slow start suffered the film and its worth. Besides with no good reviews from majority of the critics, the film suffers and will suffer in coming days. The word of mouth can rescue the movie.

Highway opening occupancy has been around 25% in India. Movie needs to get good amount of business in the later shows of the day. In multiplexes, the film’s performance has been nice, but on single screens, the movie could not emerge good at all.

Highway opening occupancy now clearly shows the later day’s business needs to be good to get required and desirable total. Also read Highway Movie Review, Darr @ The Mall Movie Review, See Rekha without makeup, Aishwarya Rai’s comeback with Mahesh Babu and Mallika Sherawat in a true hot mood.
