Film opened to below average occupancy, but the later shows of the day proved to be tremendous for the movie and then the movie turned out to be the third highest opener of 2014 after Jai Ho and Gunday.

Humshakals 1st day box office collections were 12.50 crore in domestic market, which is really nice and handsome business for sure. With this film’s opening, Sajid Khan’s Housefull’s record too broke – that’s another distinction for the film and man himself. As the movie has been made with a hefty budget of 75 crore, it will find difficult to cross this mark, but hopes are there for the good.
