Ki and Ka Music Review:

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s onscreen pairing is quite well in news and people seemingly love the pairing. Their movie ‘Ki and Ka’ is coming to hit the screens on 1st April 2016. The music of the film has been released by T-Series. Ki and Ka music review is now dished out for you to grab. The film has been made under the banner of Eros International, whereas the movie has been produced by Sunil Lulla, Rakesh Jhunjunwala, R K Damani and R Balki, who has also directed the film. Lyrics have been penned by Kumaar, Sayeed Quadri and Amitabh Bahtachariya respectively. The soundtrack has 6 songs in total.

1) High Heels (Jaz Dhami, Aditi Singh Sharma and Yo Yo Honey Singh)

The club hit ‘High Heels’ begins the album with singers – Jaz Dhami, Aditi Singh Sharma and Yo Yo Honey Singh on board. The singing is quite boisterous that you like listening the song. Lyrics by Kumaar are catchy and the music by Meet Bros, Anjaan and Yo Yo Honey Singh is simply electrifying. The impact is great.

Track’s Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

2) Ji Huzoori (Mithoon and Deepali Kishore)

Next comes is ‘Ji Huzoori’ sung by Mithoon and Deepali Kishore, who do not impress at all with their rendition. The sad song destroys the joys, which had come with the first track. Sayeed Quadri writes average lyrics and music by Mithoon is below average.

Track’s Rating:  1 out of 5 stars (1 / 5)

3) Most Wanted Munda (Meet Bros Anjjan and Earl Edgar)

The celebrity mood comes up with ‘Most Wanted Munda’ rendered beautifully and lively by Meet Bros Anjjan and Earl Edgar. Earl is there to contribute his rap. Kumaar pens apt lyrics as per the mood of the track and composition by Meet Bros and Anjjan is something you will rave big about. Tap your feet on this number.

Track’s Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

4) Foolishq (Shreya Ghoshal and Armaan Malik)

Love song emerges on the album now with Shreya and Armaan on board to render the lines. The singing by the two is splendid. Lyrics by Amitabh Bhatachariya raise the spirits and get you involved into the song. Music by Ilayaraja is worth to listen to.

Track’s Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

5) Pump It (Meet Bros Anjjan and Yash Narvekar)

Next on the album is ‘Pump It’ that carries funny lyrics by Kumaar. Singing is plain average. Composition arranged by Meet Bros Anjjan is mundane. There is no spark in this track. Avoid it.

Track’s Rating: 1 out of 5 stars (1 / 5)

6) Kabir Most Wanted Munda (Meet Bros Anjjan, Arjun Kapoor and Palak Muchchal)

The album concluded with this number. The number has been sung with conviction. Arjun Kapoor too shares singing credit in this song. Lyrics by Kumaar are worthwhile. Music by Meet Bros Anjjan is enthralling.

Track’s Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

ki and ka music review

Final Verdict:

On the whole, the soundtrack of Ki and Ka is simply awesome and makes a wonderful hearing. It has potential to hit the hearts and souls. With just two songs, which are poor, rest of the album is mellifluous and spongy.

Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)
