Rajinikanth’s much-awaited animated movie ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ has eventually come out on screens. The fans of the superstar now will take a sigh of relief and enjoy with the cinematic entertainment this film vows to offer them. Animation movie have now started making waves and in India and this step has to be appreciated.
Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is unique because it carries the 3D format which has never been used before in India. The technology Soundarya (Rajinikanth’s daughter) has brought in this movie has never been used on Indian silver screen before and that is the plus point of this venture.
The film carries the usual saga of good versus evil. The son of an honest Senapati takes revenge from the ones who have done wrong with his father. This is what the story of Kochadaiiyaan is all about. Although the story seems old, but the best thing about this movie is the novel technology and the way the film has been presented on screen. The script is gripping and holds the attention of the viewers
Direction is simply superlative and Soundarya never loosens the interest level of the viewer from the initial reels till the finale. She presents her superstar father brilliantly on screen. Rajini comes in three avatars in this film. The climax gives the signs that the sequel is in the minds of the makers. The time will tell the truth. Let’s wait.
Rajinikanth’s getup, his makeup and his looks are simply exceptional – he truly fits to the character of the superhero. The animation work is superlative and deserves huge applauds. Rajinikanth does utter justice to his role. Deepika Padukone leaves an impact. Supporting cast is brilliant.
Music by AR Rahman is spongy and catchy. But no song so far has come up as a chartbuster – this is the minus point of the album.
Final Verdict:
On the whole, Kochadaiiyaan is Rajinikanth’s venture all the way. Watch it for the novel technology and the animation work that has never been used earlier in India. Highly Recommended.
