Anushka Sharma’s maiden production NH10 finally releases today. The film has been churning out quite ripples and a big buzz has made the film much popular among the moviegoers even prior to the release. The film is definitely a worth watch from the word go. Navdeep Singh executes the film with such brilliance that you start getting involved into the goings on by the time the film unzips on screen.
The couple – Meera (Anushka Sharma) and Arjun (Neil Bhoopalam) live a happy life being engaged in their corporate jobs. Meera stumbles upon a molest attempt in Delhi. Arjun now wants her to overcome the trauma and then plans something for her. They ride on the national highly NH10 – the dusty thruway. The couple gets involved in an honor killing taken place in front of their eyes. What happens then when the killers and the gang’s head Satbir (Darshan Kumaar) spot the two? And then what happens when Arjun gets serious injuries leading Meera to take charge of all the circumstances out there? This is what forms the rest of the story.
Writing is surely wonderful and it is the story and the script which make the movie interesting and attention-fetching. Sudip Mishra must be praised for brilliant writing skills. Editing is fine. Cinematography is a work of class. Camera angles in thrillers count a lot and in this work, NH10 excels luminously. Direction is superlative. Music is average.
Anushka Sharma does a bravura performance, as the film is surely on her shoulders. She carries her character with super brilliance and conviction. Neil Bhopaalam is a treat to watch. Darshan Kumaar is simply awesome. Deepti Naval does wonderful job. Rest of the cast also shows their elements.
Final Verdict:
On the whole, NH10 is a brilliantly made thriller which carries a powerful script, interesting story, brilliant execution and power-packed performances. If all is there, then why to leave it? Go and watch it.
