Love U Soniyo hits the screens today. Well, the film does not offer you any kind of novelty at all like the other two Hindi movies released today – Nasha and Bajatey Raho. Love U Soniyo is a time and tested love saga of the two lovers, which we all have grown up watching on screens abundant of times. The age-old formula does not allure the souls even for a moment. Bollywood filmmakers love to follow in the footsteps of the successful movies and in their efforts, most of the time, they fail badly spoiling the viewers utterly. Love U Soniyo is among the ones which do not register any impacts on the cinegoers.

The main culprit of this attention and pleasure-spoiling venture is undoubtedly the script. Joe Rajan, the director of the movie, too seems not to be in his elements. The direction lacks the punch. But when a script is bad – how a director can transform it into an interesting product on celluloid? Thus, only the director cannot be blamed for the failure since the major wrongdoer is without a single doubt is the writer.

Love U Soniyo tells the story of Mark (Tanuj Virmani) and Soniyo (Neha Hinge). Both have been brought together since their childhood by fate time and again. And each time, they drew apart. But destiny has something else in store for the two.

Joe Rajan’s direction is average. Editing should have been crisper. Music by Vipun Patwa is below average. There is hardly any track which is hummable. Cinematography is lackluster.

Tanuj Virmani does not impress at all with his acting. He needs to work on his acting skills and expressions. Neha Hinge is just about okay. Supporting cast is average.

On the whole, Love U Soniyo is an age-old romantic movie, which has nothing new to offer to its viewers.
