Indian television’s gorgeous and talented actress Rashami Desai ceases the breath flow by the time a viewer bumps into her acting on screen

When you think about a classy actress, one name from the television industry comes to your mind – Rashami Desai. The most beautiful actress of small screen, Rashami is the epitome of beauty – a poet’s romantic poem. Desai’s exquisiteness very aptly reflects the imaginary world of literature where one stumbles upon an exquisite and stunning princess in the woodlands. Rashami’s big verbalizing eyes speak of her talents and her facial expressions simply arrest the breath. She is a complete package of brilliance, talents, proficiencies, dexterities, beauty and charms. By the time, a viewer watches her on screens, taking the eyes off her magic becomes utterly difficult. Rashami Desai rose to fame with her characters – Tapasya Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore (Uttaran aired on Colors TV) and Preeti (Adhuri Kahaani Hamari aired on &TV). She participated in few reality shows as well such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 5), Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (2014) and Nach Baliye (Season 7 in 2015). Desai has been playing the role of Shorvori in Colors TV’s show ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ since 2017. Today, Rashami is among the few highest paid TV actresses of India. Not many know that before entering into television, she had acted in few movies.
Her debut in small screen happened at an early age with Zee TV’s Raavan in 2006. Her next was Sony TV’s show ‘Meet Mila De Rabba’ (2008). Then came the show that took her to the height of her career – Uttaran (on Colors) in 2008. During her career so far, she has also acted in other shows such as ‘Pari Hoon Main’, ‘Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai’ and to name a few. Desai was also seen in popular reality shows like ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘Maha Sangram’, ‘Crime Patrol’, ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’, ‘Big Money’, ‘Kitchen Champion Season 2’ and ‘Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala’. Her appearance on SAB TV’s much-watched show ‘Movers and Shakers’ hosted by Shekhar Suman in 2012 was massively liked by her fans in which she became candid and revealed a lot about her life. On Nach Baliye 7, she had participated along with her husband Nandish Sandhu who was her co-star in Uttaran. She married with him on 12th February 2012. But after two years in 2014, the couple separated and the following year (2015), they filed for divorce.
Apart from Bollywood movies, Rashami Desai has enacted in many Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Assamese films. She played the role of Sheetal in Hindi movie ‘Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke’ (2004). In the song ‘Dagabaaz Re’ from the movie Dabangg 2 (2013), Rashami played a cameo role as a bride. She enacted Shweta Bhardwaj in the movie ‘Six X’ in 2016.
Rashami Desai has won 9 awards so far for her best performance in television shows whereas she was also nominated for 4 times. Rashami is always a big treat to watch. She is the biggest asset of television industry and the darling of her fans’ hearts.
