Bollywood’s famous comedian and veteran actor Deven Verma passes away at the age of 77 in Pune earlier today. As per the reports, Devan passed away today morning on 2nd December 2014 due to heart attack and kidney failure. He was famous for his superb comic expertise, comic timing, soft comedy and iconic role he has played in movies so far in his career.
He will be remembered for his brilliant comedies in the films like Angoor, Golmaal, Bhago Bhut Aaya, Chori Mera Naam, Dil Toh Paagal Hai and Ishq.
Deven has won Filmfare awards for Best Comedian for the movies Angoor, Chori Mera Naam and Chor Ke Ghar Chor.
The news Deven Verma passes away is surely painful for the industry and his fans, who love his comedy. He is survived by wife Rupa Ganguly, who is the daughter of the famed late actor Ashok Kumar.
