At last, the years’ much-awaited horror adult movie has arrived. Finally, the viewers take a sigh of relief that now they can watch the film and the heavy dose of skin-show and erotica attached to this venture. The film has been marketed heavily and the big hype was created with every possible and available manner. The movie has been promoted primarily on the basis of erotica and mammoth dose of skin-show presented by none other than the famed adult star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone. This is enough to bring the audiences to theaters. Rest depends on the story, scares, performances and the execution of the movie.

Ekta Kapoor very skillfully has marketed the second installment of Ragini MMS (2011) – Ragini MMS 2. The film is a combination of horror and sex and it is evident and apparent from film’s face value, promos, trailers and whatsoever has been marketed for film’s promotion. This time the second installment not only carries scares, but also endows you with supreme amount of Sunny Leone’s body-show, for which she is popular already. And this is what the makers have taken advantage of her in Ragini MMS 2.

The second installment surpasses the first in many ways such as heavy dose of skin-show (which the first carried lower than the second one), characterization, story (as now it moves ahead with new plot) and shivering scares.

Bhushan Patel, director of this film, executes the film throwing the time and tested formula of horror movies aside and rather taking a new route to scare and entice the viewers with the spirit laced with yearn to tell her story, marvelous visual effects to send shivers through the body, loud voiceovers, heavy dose of skin-show and hummable chartbuster music. The recipe of this man is quite strong to allure and fetch the audiences. And ofcourse it will work big time.

Ragini MMS 2 starts off from the point first part had ended up – Ragini (Kainaz Motivala) and Uday (Rajkummar Rao) go to enjoy a dirty weekend at an isolated farmhouse of a friend located at the suburbs of Mumbai. To enjoy it more dirtily, he fixes the cameras at various places of the house to capture their lovemaking. But Uday is killed and Ragini is hospitalized. The MMS then goes viral. Filmmaker (Pravin Dabas)  finds this scandal quite interesting to make a movie on. He takes the hot actress (Sunny Leone) on board to enact Ragini. The team goes to shoot the film at the isolated villa, where the MMS scandal had taken place.

The old concepts of horror movies laced with scary skeletons with blood moving out of their faces and foggy nights have gone now. The present scenario of horror movies is now utterly changed – today scary movies rely on sound design primarily apart from the gripping horror content and horror atmosphere without any doubt. Thankfully, Bhushan takes the current route to make this movie on. Besides, he uses the spices in abundance to allure the viewers from all aspects. He knows the craft and art of horror films very well and the same is vivid in Ragini MMS 2.

Frankly and honestly, the writing does seem inspired from Hollywood horror flicks, but this is only the inspiration and this can surely be avoided, since there is no harm in inspiration. Writing is really gripping and the full credit goes to the writers – Suhani Kanwar and Tanveer Bookwala. Screenplay grips the viewers with the apt balance of scares and erotica.

Bhushan Patel executes the story skillfully and intelligently on screen that the viewer cannot take the eyes off even for a moment – scares and full package of skin-show cannot leave you at all. Besides the erotica and heavy dose of skin-show of Sunny Leone, the smooches too generate quite oomph. Sunny Leone and Sandhya Mridul’s smooch too has generated big hype for the movie prior to the release. Sunny Leone’s wild attitude in the film will go supremely high for the front-benchers.

Cinematography by Naren Gedia is simply awesome – camera’s movements required for this ilk of movies are really apt. Editing is fine. Music is chartbuster – Baby Doll and Chaar Bottle Vodka have already been making bigger waves on the charts and channels.

Ragini MMS 2 is a Sunny Leone’s film all the way without any doubt and this gorgeous and steamy actress does bravura performance. She has big fan following already and after the success of this film, she is set to add more numbers to her fans’ list. The confidence in her character is vivid apart from the skin-show she does confidently. She is beautiful and hot and this is enough to generate liking for this actress. Supporting cast does well too like Divya Dutta, Karan Mehra, Pravin Dabas and Sandhya Mridul.
