Jai Ho box office collections simply reveal everything to us that Salman Khan’s most ambitious project could not bring up the sparkles as were being expected before the release. Expectations were mammoth for the gigantic business. There were roars about the giant success of the film. The trade pundits and experts including this writer were of the view that the film’s opening would be massive in between 28 to 33 crore something, but nothing of this sort happened and the film gained merely 17.55 crore on opening day. ‘Merely’ word was used because this business was not what was being desired and expected by all of us, trade experts, movie’s stakeholders and in particular the investors. Salman too must be disappointed with the opening of his film. The man already showed his fears of box office dull, but it did not mean that he actually had the fears and knew that his product was boring or having bad content, etc. Instead these kinds of fears often rise up in the minds, when you are too much concerned about your venture. But again on 4th day (1st Monday), the business dropped massively in India and again the film turned out to be mundane in business.
