Bharani Minerals is the banner that produces this film titled Lakshmi starring Shivarajakumar, Priyamani, Vincent, Ravi Kaale, Avinash, Ashish Vidyarthi and others. Lakshmi movie review was being awaited by the moviegoers since the film was in talks before the release. Now as the film has hit the screens, the Lakshmi Kannada movie review is out for the moviegoers.

Raghav Loki directs this film that has been produced by BR Duggineni and Adhi. The music is scored by Gurukiran. The film has potential to hit the hearts. Although there is hardly any novelty in plot and the screenplay is not up to the mark, nonetheless the movie can bring in audiences to the theaters.

Lakshmi talks about terrorism and destruction. The film tells the story of a couple – Lakshminarayan (Shivarajakumar) and Priya (Priyamani). They tie the knot and after the marriage, Priya decides to serve the nation. Soon Lakshmi find that his wife has been kidnapped. He starts his serach to trace his wife and it leads him to land in Hong Kong where he finds that his wife works there as a personal secretary of the main key player (Ashish Vidyarthi ) of the terrorist gang.

By taking help of Deal Raja (Rangayana Raghu), he finds a little cute girl Dashalakshmi who is his own daughter. Priya is with the ones who have plans to destroy the Indian sub continent. Soon Lakshmi traces Priya.

The plot is not new since we have watched the films on these kinds of subjects many a time in the past. The screenplay is not well executed but nonetheless has potential to attract the viewers. Direction is eye-catchy and gets the viewers get glued to their seats.

Music is spongy and allures the souls. Dialogues are well penned. Cinematography is wonderful and attractive. Editing is just about okay.

Shivarajakumar attracts the audiences. He does not look 50 at all rather he looks pretty young courtesy the best makeup and well designed costumes he used in the film. Priyamani delivers fantastic performance. Ashish Vidyarthi enacts the part well. Rest of the cast fills the bill as well.

Final Verdict:

Lakshmi is attention-grabbing film with great performances. Leave the novelty and average script aside, the fact of the matter is the film works with the audiences.
